Owner and executive chef of the open-fire gastronomy restaurant, Ánima in Merida, Ted will introduce you to regional foods and wines, tour you through local markets, create exquisite meals + more during your stay with him. 5 days/4 nights. Introductory All Inclusive Price: Airport pick up and drop off at Merida’s international airport (Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport), local transportation, meals and drinks, entrance fees for experiences and lodging. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and balconies. *Airfare to Merida is at guests’ expense.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

Set on Gulf of Mexico shores, this beachfront island home, in the fishing village of Chuburná Puerto, is located just thirty-five miles north of Merida’s international airport.

Casa Ocea pairs artistic vision with traditional Yucatán flavor designed to create a unique experience of place. Travelers interested in sandy beaches brimming with shells, multiple shades of turquoise waters, palm trees and exotic birds can experience living amidst Mayan locals, fine contemporary art, and spectacular ocean views. 

This residence has been carefully considered to engage the indoor-outdoor spaces, which have a natural ease. The ocean-facing living room invites guests to gather while birds dip into the pool and the ocean beyond. Black and white pasta tiles line the pool and draw guests outside to lounge, swim and slip into the ocean. A hand-made ping-pong table sits under the veranda and easily converts to an outdoor dining table, where beautiful sunsets can be toasted. 

There's a large open chukum kitchen for getting creative culinary juices flowing, and the bespoke Mayan-inspired dining room is ready for the enjoyment of culinary delights. Four bedrooms, each with an individual private bathroom and balcony, make this a memorable place.
